Our client, a European leader in high-end store fixturing and design, is coming to Montreal. At this time, they require a senior Project Manager with strong managerial skills. This requires someone who will take on the following responsibilities but has the flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as required.
Working with internally: Inventory Assistants, Senior Manager, Designers, Technical Designers,
Working with externally: Partners and subcontractors
Responsibilities:
Detailed planning of projects:
– Estimating, scheduling and meeting deadlines
– Conduct start up meetings with designer
- Measurement / building survey /blueprint reading
Produce final statement and secure sign-off by partner
Track and finishing snagging lists
Presentation of projects including quotation to the partner
Track project workflow and costs

• Measurement/building survey by own or internal/external use of service
Punch list: tracking data
• Project monitoring of the whole project workflow and financial costs trend.
Communication:
• Start up meeting: PM calls in for meeting with designer to discuss the content of the project, budget and running through drawings
• Final statement: coordinating, completing and presentation of the final statement to the partner
• General project related communication with the partners
• Presentation of the project together with the designer to the partner
• Quotation: coordinating, completing and presentation of the quotation to the partner
