Can We Talk?

Shots of the Interior

I’ve been asked to post pictures of the interior. I know, so far they’ve been mostly of the exterior but there is a reason why I hadn’t done it yet. We’ve done nothing on the inside – not even hang pictures. There are still boxes everywhere.  The interior needs a fresh coat of paint. Strangely, I have no sense of urgency in this matter.  Maybe it’s because I rather like the wall colours – well, except my office, laundry and downstairs bathroom. Other than that, I can live with what’s here. Besides, you have to do outside work when the weather is good. Can’t do it in winter. So, that’s where we’ve been concentrating our efforts so far.

As you can see, we’re still sleeping in the guest room. We decided to put the four-poster in our room and that way our guests will have the king-size bed. We have yet to go out shopping for a mattress set. All in good time. Let me just say this now, originally this house was a five bedroom house and later turned it into a three bedroom house. So, all the rooms are large, especially the master. The guest room is the smallest.

The first picture is the one of the property.  It took a lot of measuring and transferring measurements to do this.  The house is about 2400 square feet over two floors. It looks so tiny on the plan.  We have a vision for this property. It will take a lot of work to get us there but we will get there – sooner or later. Meanwhile, here are some inside shots for your viewing pleasure. 🙂
